What will you say makes a great logo, the concept, the colors, size, depth?
I argue what makes a great logo is a 2dimensional text, sign, or image that carries the most important yet simplest form of the message the owner wants to convey whenever you take a look at the logo.
It should look good and readable when it's small, it should also look good when it's big like on the side of a building
Colors are relative, but I know a 2d logo is a great canvas for any color, paints or pattern
Would advise bold, clear cut lines, just in-case you ever want to extrude the logo,

I recently asked a friend of mine Muktar, A creative Genius and one of our members on the platform to help us with the SAINTS logo for the film Project Rise of the Saints, see the saints are a secluded group of Yoruba linage from Moremi Ajasoro, who are sworn to keeping the line between light and darkness, spiritual police, a secret ops department/ cult
The amazing thing is we just had a short conversation about it and he came up with the most interesting and yet simple logo, I personally have seen in a while
So I asked him what his process was and how he came up with the logo and here is what he has to say
"I knew the theme of the movie. I had been a fan of stories about mystic art and science so I had sketched a couple of artists in the past. The choice to make an ambigram was because it just felt right. Ambigrams are symbolic of cults and societies of generations past. I did a couple of sketches and went with this style because legibility is also important"
Muktar Adeboye
For me, its basically a sign for the movement, and it's already started
